Emotional intelligence training

Emotional intelligence training contributes to a better understanding of one’s own emotions and their connection with life’s beliefs and behavior. An emotionally intelligent person has control over his emotions and has an insight into how they affect others, they are aware of the positive functions of unpleasant feelings, therefore they do not avoid situations that are unpleasant and do not avoid justifying the inconvenience of others. They love themselves and others and express this by communication. Their communication style is predominantly assertive, expressing their views and beliefs in a way that does not jeopardize others.

Social circumstances that we live in, characterised by a mainly aggressive communication style, create a need to protect ourselves from stress and set boundaries for those invading our rights.

In addition to being useful to learn how to defend and stand up for oneself in an assertive manner, it is even more useful to transfer that knowledge and skills to others in one’s environment. Thus we will enable them to improve the quality of their life by applying the acquired knowledge in the area of communication and emotional skills.

Who is this for?

The training is intended for adolescents and adults who want to improve the quality of their lives.

The experience-based training program is designed for experts in human sciences – practitioners wishing to become certified coaches in assertive communication and emotional intelligence and gain knowledge and skills required for organising experience-based workshops. The training program represents a combination of elements of three psychotherapeutic approaches – transaction analysis, family therapy and REBT.

What is the benefit of trainer education?

Program of training for a trainer is also designed for future psychotherapists and counsellors, as it will provide them with stronger capacities for improving personal and professional competencies than the experience-based program level, for better-quality and more successful professional practice. For your CV, you will get a certificate, while for future psychotherapists 32 hours of training are registered as hours of personal work.

Most employees are exposed to the pressure of rival, conflict relations at work. Surveys have shown that good interpersonal relations result in higher productivity at work. Therefore, it is very important to present employees with training in the area of communication and emotional skills. This refers to both experience-based trainings and coach trainings for experts in charge of interpersonal relations.
